I am kind of sad that the weather is getting colder and its getting dark early. Already can’t wait for summer 2016 but I am excited to blog about my autumn winter looks.
In my last post I mentioned my trip to the Middle East. So, one day I was attending a formal party and I spent hours looking for a dress but no luck ( I’m very picky with my dresses). The Idea of getting one made is no big deal there, I managed to find the fabric I wanted , mom forced me to ditch the black :(. I spent about 5-10 minutes sketching what I wanted and we paid this guy who is a family friend to make it in 3 hours. This is the results. What do you guys think? I really wish we could do things like this here in UK :(. I have a whole suitcase of clothes and I am really excited to shoot them.
What do you guys think of my dress? It took literally 3 hours to sketch and make it? I was really impressed with this guys talent.
What: International Women’s Day (8 March) is a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. In some places like China, Russia, Vietnam and Bulgaria, International Women’s Day is a national holiday.
Why: Suffragettes campaigned for women’s right to vote. The word ‘Suffragette’ is derived from the word “suffrage” meaning the right to vote. International Women’s Day honours the work of the Suffragettes, celebrates women’s success, and reminds of inequities still to be redressed.
This day is celebrated religiously in my family every year, where all the girls get princess treatment all day long. And we are waiting for dad to come home with presents and make us dinner.
